The Lake Poets

So it's been a while since I've written on this...
I went to a concert in November for John Smith - who is an amazing but the opening act was someone from a band called 'The Lake Poets'

I've never had a liking for the opening act bands because I always expect to see who I paid for and it annoys me when it takes ages for them to perform, but 'The Lake Poets' caught my eye and I thought it was amazing.

I'll just let the music speak for itself -

Sara Bareilles

This is probably a little late to realise that Sara Bareilles has a new album, but I recently discovered it. I am in love with her music, but I can't possibly follow all the artists I like as well as everything else.

So here is her most recent music video "Brave".

Her music is always so refreshing and I think this video highlights this perfectly. It always makes me smile and just want to let go of everything. It makes people free. Even though some of her songs may be something which isn't a positive thing like "Say you're sorry" but it is portrayed in such a good way that isn't wildly negative. 

I will definitely listen to her new album.
